  • Adafruit L3GD20H Triple-Axis Gyro Breakout Board - L3GD20/L3
    Precio:  $56,029.00

    Adafruit L3GD20H Triple-Axis Gyro Breakout Board - L3GD20/L3

-Titulo Original : Adafruit L3GD20H Triple-Axis Gyro Breakout Board - L3GD20/L3G4200 Upgrade - L3GD20H [ADA1032]-Fabricante : ADAFRUIT-Descripcion Original: Adafruit Part Number: 1032 // Stock Type: Sensors >> Motion // In Stock & Ready to Ship // A gyroscope is a type of sensor that can sense twisting and turning motions. Often paired with an accelerometer, you can use these to do 3D motion capture and inertial measurement (that is - you can tell how an object is moving!) As these sensors become more popular and easier to manufacture, the prices for them have dropped to the point where you can easily afford a triple-axis gyro! Only a decade ago, this space-tech sensor would have been hundreds of dollars. This breakout board is based around the latest gyro technology, the L3GD20H from STMicro . It's the upgrade to the L3G4200 ( see this app note on what to look for if upgrading an existing design to the L3GD20 ) with three full axes of sensing. The chip can be set to ±250, ±500, or ±2000 degree-per-second scale for a large range of sensitivity. There's also built in high and low pass sensing to make data processing easier. The chip supports both I2C and SPI so you can interface with any microcontroller easily. Since this chip is a 3.3V max device, but many of our customers want to use it with an Arduino, we soldered it to a breakout board with level shifting circuitry so you can use the I2C or SPI interface safely using a 5V interface device. We also place a 3.3V regulator on there so you can power it from 5V. Since we expect people will want to attach it firmly to their project, the PCB comes with four 2.1mm mounting holes. Use #2-56 imperial or M2 screws screws. Getting started is easy - simply connect SDA to your Arduino I2C data pin (On the UNO this is A4), SCL to I2C clock (Uno: A5), GND to ground, and Vin to 3 or 5VDC. Then install and run our easy to use Arduino library, which will print out the XYZ sensor data to the serial terminal. Our library also supports SPI on any 4 digital I/O pins, see the example for wiring...

This is the FeatherWing OLED : it adds a 128x32 monochrome OLED plus 3 user buttons to any Feather main board. Using our Feather Stacking Headers or Feather Female Headers you can connect a FeatherWing on top of your Feather board and let the board take flight! These displays are small, only about 1 diagonal, but very readable due to the high contrast of an OLED display. This screen is made of 128x32 individual white OLED pixels and because the display makes its own light, no backlight is required. This reduces the power required to run the OLED and is why the display has such high contrast; we really like this miniature display for its crispness! We also toss on a reset button and three mini tactile buttons called A B and C so you can add a mini user interface to your feather.Tested working with  all Feather boards. The OLED uses only the two I2C pins on the Feather, and you can pretty much stack it with any other FeatherWing, even ones that use I2C since that is a shared bus. To use, Check out our tutorial ! It has schematics, datasheets, files, and code examples. Check out our range of Feather boards here...

Once attached you'll get a 1.54 240x240 IPS display with backlight control, two 3-pin STEMMA connectors for attaching NeoPixel strips or servos, and a Class D audio amplifier with a Molex PicoBlade connector that can plug one of our lil speakers. This is a great companion for our Circuit Playground Express or Bluefruit boards thanks to their fast SPI hardware speeds, and works in Arduino and CircuitPython. If you're using this with Circuit Playground Express and CircuitPython, you won't be able to do a lot because there isn't a ton of memory - mostly just displaying the REPL and maybe running an image slideshow. For CircuitPython use, the Bluefruit is recommended and works really great! You can use it with the Circuit Playground Classic in Arduino but it won't be very fast, as you have to bitbang the SPI - and the display has a lot of pixels - so it's not recommended. You'll have a very slow display. Comes with a PCB that has pre-soldered standoffs attached, and 12x M3 screws for attachment. Fits all Circuit Playgrounds but like we mentioned earlier, the Express and Bluefruit are recommended...

  • Adafruit Electroluminescent (EL) Panel - 10cm x 10cm White (
    Precio:  $83,359.00

    Adafruit Electroluminescent (EL) Panel - 10cm x 10cm White (

-Titulo Original : Adafruit Electroluminescent (EL) Panel - 10cm x 10cm White (625)-Fabricante : ADAFRUIT-Descripcion Original: Glow Size: 10 cm x 10 cm (3.95" x 3.95") // Plastic Size: 10.4 cm x 10.4 cm (4.1" x 4.1"), about 0.5mm thick // Panel lifetime: >25000 hours // Operating voltage: 60-250VAC // Operating Frequency: 50-5000HZ // DESCRIPTION EL panel is the big sister to EL wire - it has the same glow effect but with a flat shape instead of a round shape. This is a big sheet of flexible plastic coated with EL material so its like one big glowing square. It emits an even glow over the entire shape. The glowing part of the panel is 10 cm x 10 cm (approx: 4 x 4).There's a plastic coating is about 10.4cm x 10.4cm. Its covered in what seems to be PVC, the tape is thus weather-proof - but note that the connectors are NOT waterproof, just a bit of heatshrink. This isn't something we would suggest leaving outdoors for extended periods. You can attach it by sewing through the clear plastic edging, or gluing the back to a flat surface. It is flexible but will crease and damage if folded. You can cut the panel up as long as the shape you cut out is continuous and has the JST cable attached. This panel is a slightly blue-tinted white color when lit and appears pink when off. Like all EL products, an inverter is REQUIRED to operate the panel Because EL tape has more surface area than wire, it requires a more powerful inverter. We suggest you use our 4xAAA inverter which is strong enough to power a single panel at once - plug it in and turn it on! For more permanent installations, the 12V EL inverter can also power a single panel and run off 8xAA batteries or a wall adapter. Please note! EL tape, EL wire and EL panel are made with different processes and so the color and brightness will not be consistent between the two: white tape, white wire and white panels will not necessarily match...

Adafruit IR Break Beam Sensor - 5mm LEDs [ADA2168]

-Titulo Original : Adafruit IR Break Beam Sensor - 5mm LEDs [ADA2168]-Fabricante : ADAFRUIT-Descripcion Original: Adafruit Part Number: 2168 // Stock Type: Sensors >> Motion // In Stock & Ready to Ship // Infrared (IR) break-beam sensors are a simple way to detect motion. They work by having an emitter side that sends out a beam of human-invisible IR light, then a receiver across the way which is sensitive to that same light. When something passes between the two, and its not transparent to IR, then the 'beam is broken' and the receiver will let you know.Compared to PIR sensors, breakbeams are faster and allow better control of where you want to detect the motion. Compared to Sonar modules, they're less expensive. However, you do need both emitter and receiver on opposite sides of the area you want to monitor. This is the 5mm IR  version.   It works up to 50cm / 20. You can power it from 3.3V or 5V, but 5V will get you better range and is what we suggest. The receiver is open collector transistor output which means that you do need a pull up resistor if you want to read a digital signal off the signal wire. Most microcontrollers have the ability to turn on a built in pull up resistor. If you do not, connect a 10K resistor between the white wire of the receiver and the red wire. If you want to control a relay or LED or whatever, it can sink up to 100mA to ground Check out our IR breakbeam tutorial for how to get started quickly We also carry a 3mm version that works for slightly shorter distances...

Adafruit Flora RGB Smart NeoPixel Version 2 - Pack of 4 [ADA

-Titulo Original : Adafruit Flora RGB Smart NeoPixel Version 2 - Pack of 4 [ADA1260]-Fabricante : ADAFRUIT-Descripcion Original: Flora NeoPixels // Designed specifically for wearables // ultra-bright LED (each pixel can draw as much as 60mA) // High Speed 800KHz communication // Full 24-bit color ability with PWM taken care of by the controller chip // What's a wearable project without LEDs? Our favorite part of the Flora platform is these tiny smart pixels. Designed specifically for wearables, these updated Flora NeoPixels have ultra-cool technology: these ultra-bright LEDs have a constant-current driver cooked right into the LED package! The pixels are chainable - so you only need 1 pin/wire to control as many LEDs as you like. They're easy to sew, and the chainable design means no crossed threads. This is the second version of the Flora NeoPixels, which runs at at 'high speed' 800KHz communication. Unfortunately they are not back-compatible with the chip-on-back 'low speed' (400KHz) Flora NeoPixels. If you have a project that already uses low speed pixels, and you want to attach more pixels to the chain, you will need to purchase version 1's as these are not cross-compatible. These pixels have full 24-bit color ability with PWM taken care of by the controller chip. Since the LED is so bright, you need less current/power to get the effects you want. The driver is constant current so its OK if your battery power changes or fluctuates a little. Each pixel draws as much as 60mA (all three RGB LEDs on for full brightness white). In theory, the Flora can drive up to 500 pixels at 30 FPS (it will run out of RAM after that). However, after about 10 pixels (or if the distance between pixels is more than an inch or two) the resistance of the thread can affect the power supply. For large quantities of pixels over 10, you may want to consider using stranded core wire or copper braid to provide a power bus for the pixels - the current draw will add up fast! Each order comes with 4 individually controllable pixels...

Adafruit 284 FTDI Friend Extras ADA284

-Titulo Original : Adafruit FTDI Friend Extras [ADA284]-Fabricante : Adafruit-Descripcion Original: Long gone are the days of parallel ports and serial ports. Now the USB port reigns supreme! But USB is hard, and you just want to transfer your every-day serial data from a microcontroller to computer. What now? Enter the FTDI Friend! The FTDI Friend is a tweaked out FTDI FT232RL chip adapter. Sure, like the well-known FTDI cable, it can provide power to your project and there are 4 signal lines for sending data back and forth. But the Friend can do much more! For example, you can change the signal and power lines to be either 3.3V or 5V. Arduino-derivatives and XBees use the RTS line for programming but what if you need that DTR line? It's there for you. By default, it's setup so that it matches Adafruit's FTDI cables. The 6th pin is RTS (as of Arduino IDE v18 this will work perfectly for uploading to 'inos), the power wire is +5V and the signal levels are 3.3V. You can even rearrange the wire order with a 6-pin extension cable (not included). In a pinch, you can use it to program AVRs (its a bit slow but works!) Adafruit 3316 VL6180X Time Of Flight Distance Ranging Sensor

-Titulo Original : Adafruit (PID 3316 VL6180X Time Of Flight Distance Ranging Sensor (VL6180)-Fabricante : Adafruit-Descripcion Original: VL6180X Time of Flight distance sensor // Range: 5mm to 200mm // On Board 5V regulator and level shifting // Works with 3V to 5V // Works with Arduino and other micro controller projects // The VL6180X (sometimes called the VL6180) is a Time of Flight distance sensor like no other you've used! The sensor contains a very tiny laser source, and a matching sensor. The VL6180X can detect the time of flight, or how long the laser light has taken to bounce back to the sensor. Since it uses a very narrow light source, it is good for determining distance of only the surface directly in front of it. Unlike sonars that bounce ultrasonic waves, the 'cone' of sensing is very narrow. Unlike IR distance sensors that try to measure the amount of light bounced, the VL6180X is much more precise and doesn't have linearity problems or 'double imaging' where you can't tell if an object is very far or very close. This is the 'little sister' of the Adafruit VL53L0X ToF sensor, and can handle about 5mm to 200mm of range distance. It also includes a lux sensor. If you need a larger range, check out the VL53L0X which can measure 50 - 1200 mm. The sensor is small and easy to use in any robotics or interactive project. Since it needs 2.8V power and logic we put the little fellow on a breakout board with a regulator and level shifting. You can use it with any 3-5V power or logic microcontroller with no worries. Each order comes with a small piece of header. Solder the header onto your breakout board with your iron and some solder and wire it up for instant distance-sensing-success! Communicating to the sensor is done over I2C with some simple commands. Most of the work is handled inside the sensor itself, so its very easy to port our Arduino library to another microcontroller...

It is panel mountable for placement in a box, or you can plug it into a breadboard (just cut/bend the two mechanical side tabs.) We also include a nice soft-touch knob with an arrow in it, fits perfectly and looks great. This encoder also has a push-button built into it so you can press onto the knob to close a separate switch. One side has a 3 pin connector (ground and two coding pins) and the other side has two pins for a normally-open switch.Rotary encoders are useful as rotation sensors or selectors and look similar to potentiometers. However they are not like potentiometers at all, so it's important to realize the difference! These rotary encoders rotate all the way around continuously, and are divided up into 24 'segments'. Each segment has a click-y feeling to it, and each movement clockwise or counter-clockwise causes the two switches to open and close. There is no way to know what the current 'position' is - instead you would use a microcontroller to count how many 'clicks' left or right it has been turned. If you need to detect rotational 'position' a potentiometer would be a better choice...
