Rachmaninoff 2 and 3 - rarely combined - in one album, showcase two blockbuster concertos of the late-romantic repertoire. The 2nd has been featured in many famous movies such as Billy Wilders The Seven Year Itch (1955) and Clint Eastwoods film Hereafter (2010). The 3rd was prominently featured in Shine (1996) with David Helfgott. Khatia and Jarvi recorded the album with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at Rudolfinum, Dvorak Hall, Prague.
