I started to get heel pain 4 years ago from gymnastics. I had a partial rupture of my left plantar fascia, and a slow onset of chronic plantar fasciitis on my right foot. I limped around for the first four months until I just couldnt stand the pain. Then with the guidance of a podiatrist I put my foot in a cast for 2 months. When I came out of it, it took me a long time to walk again and slowly the pain started to come back. I was extremely desperate and was trying everything, every single day for months. About six months after the cast failed to deliver results, I went to a soft tissue therapist. That is when I had my first moment of relief ever since the heel pain started. I explored my options with soft tissue therapists and traveled far and wide to find the best of the best. I started to copy their methods and made my own that anyone could do at home. After my own plantar fasciitis was completely healed up, I thought, why not help others? I made a couple videos of how others can fix their heel pain and posted them on youtube. Within days I had people emailing me and commenting on my videos about how I had helped them with my advice. I then sat down daily for months and wrote the book Plantar Fasciitis Survival Guide in my spare time. I am currently in college working on my pre-med biology degree and am in my fifth year of attending. I do a lot of sports and love learning about health and the functions and sustainability of the human body. It amazes me of the processes that go on when the body is over stressed and how it reacts to those stressors. My goal is to help others in the field of bio-engineering to build prosthetic arms and legs to better adapt people with diabilitys to the current world around us.
