Presentamos quinta edicion de la nueva edicion en español de la Biblia de Jerusalen. Se ha mantenido la tradicional fidelidad a los textos originales hebreo, arameo y griego, y la transmision de las introducciones y notas de la version francesa. Indicamos a continuacion las novedades mas importantes de esta quinta edicion: * El mismo equipo de especialistas ha editado esta quinta edicion, manteniendo los valores centrales de sus traducciones de los idiomas originales: unidad interior de los distintos escritos biblicos de la Antigua y Nueva Alianza, reflejo del ritmo del verso hebreo en la lirica y atencion especial a los lugares paralelos, especialmente en los Evangelios Sinopticos. Esta nueva edicion incluye 30% mas notas al pie que la edicion anterior. Se han revisado literariamente todos los libros del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento por parte del actual coordinador general Victor Morla: con acomodacion al castellano de los cliches hebreos, mejora en la armonizacion de textos y pulido del estilo. Se han actualizado las notas de caracter historico, geografico y arqueologico, con introduccion de algunas nuevas, por parte de Joaquin Gonzalez Echegaray. Se ha incorporado la traduccion de algunos cambios en las notas de la ultima edicion francesa de la Biblia de Jerusalen: algunas han sido suprimidas por obsoletas, al tiempo que se han incorporado otras de caracter cultural e historico-geografico. Esta nueva edicion se beneficia de los estudios e investigaciones de la Escuela Biblica y Arqueologica de Jerusalen y de los exegetas que forman el nuevo equipo de traductores de la Biblia de Jerusalen en español, permaneciendo fiel a los principios de las ediciones precedentes al tiempo que supone una completa puesta al dia de la investigacion biblica de los ultimos años.
