It is built on durable C-weight paper backing that resists curling and holds up during wet or dry sanding. Sheets can be easily cut to size for hand files and blocks or for machine sanding applications. Abrasive Sheet 434Q features silicon carbide – a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint prep, smoothing of clear coats and as an alternative to compounding.
