Product Description A nice, normal life. Is that too much to ask? For Riley Thorn it is. Divorced. Broke. Living with a pack of elderly roommates. And those hallucinations she s diligently ignoring? Her tarot card-dealing mom is convinced they re clairvoyant visions. Just when things can t get worse, a so-hot-it-should-be-illegal private investigator shows up on her doorstep looking for a neighbor...who turns up murdered. Nick Santiago doesn t play well with others. Unless the others are of the female persuasion. Wink. He s a rebel, a black sheep, a man who prefers a buffet of options to being stuck with the same entree every night, if you catch his drift. When the pretty, possibly psychic Riley lands at the top of the list of suspects, Nick volunteers to find out whodunit. Only because he likes solving mysteries not because he wants to flex his heroic muscles for the damsel in distress. All they have to do is figure out who pulled the trigger, keep the by-the-book detective with a grudge at bay, and deal with a stranger claiming he was sent to help Riley hone her psychic gifts. All before the killer discovers she s a loose end that requires snipping. Review Jess Moro, Frolic Media Journalist ~ I would read Lucy Scores grocery list. Her books are filled with charming characters that make you fall in love with not just the MCs but the whole merry band of side characters. A rom com that will keep you in stitches, it also has a mystery element woven through it. Not only will the story keep you on your toes but you have to look out for those elderly roommates too! When Kit Reads ~ Honestly, Im not sure if Im reading a book or watching a sitcom. Professor Romance ~ Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door is a wild ride, a rollercoaster ride, and a professional boxing match of witticisms all wrapped up into one. Book Addict Romance Blog ~ Quirky, foolhardy, and riotously funny, Riley Thorn is a definite must read! Story Lovers Society ~ If you are looking for a book thats a little different than your typical rom-com then try this one. As with most of this authors books, you will get a whole gang of funny, crazy characters that get into some zany situations. There is chemistry between these two from the start, but their story is a slow burn. I recommend this sweet, funny, wacky story. NovelMomma ~ This book really is the perfect combination of everything Lucy has perfected in her other books. The mystery, the crazy characters, the witty banter, the romance, and the super swoony hero were absolutely perfect. Bookish_kayy ~ Reminiscent of the Stephanie Plum series, but with a fresh take, I giggled my way through Riley Thorns reluctant psychic abilities and her disaster filled life. Add in a bit of that classic Score charm, and this one is a hit. I cant wait to see it his crew get up to more shenanigans! Amity Book Blog ~ Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door totally gave me Plum vibes and I was here for it! Plot-5/5 Characters-5/5 Heat-5/5 Writing style-5/5 Overall-5/5 Trish Clouds Reviews ~ Lucy has more than proven shes got this rom-com mystery thing locked down tight. And I say CHEERS to more Riley Thorn and rom-com mysteries!! Closet Romance Reader ~ Nick and Riley were perfection! The two of them had so much chemistry, it flew off the pages. Get ready for the craziest read of 2020! Jeeves Reads Romance ~ If youre in the mood for a low angst, high humor, zany kind of romance, then look no further. Karis Book Reviews and Revelations ~ The characters are so much fun, their interactions are humorous and hot as this story delivers everything you could want and more. Kindled Souls ~ This book is an excellent starting point for a Riley Thorn mystery series. Live Through Books Blog ~ I knew Lucy Score could write the hell out of a contemporary romance. I did not know she could write an outstanding paranormally tinged romantic comedy/suspense, but thats exactly what she did with Ri
